小貓水星(Mercury)出生4天大時，就被除草機意外撞到，當時獸醫決定不讓牠安樂死，盡力搶救保住小命，但水星的兩隻前腳卻不得不截肢，不幸中的大幸是因為水星剛出生就截肢，讓牠很快就能適應沒有前腳的身體，加上飼主的照料和協助之下，儘管失去兩腳，水星依舊能行動自如，就像隻袋鼠一樣，蹦蹦跳跳。

牠的主人在臉書上幫牠開了專頁，記錄下水星這一路來的成長旅程，讓不少人相當感動。（周佩萱／綜合報導）
